Marcia S. Ross, C.S.A. is the Senior Vice-President of Feature Casting at Walt Disney Studios. She oversees all aspects of casting of the live action feature films produced by Walt Disney Pictures, Touchstone Pictures, and Hollywood Pictures, a position she has held since 1995, and she herself has served as the casting director for many of them.
Some of the films Ms. Ross has cast for Disney include Reign of Fire, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Princess Diaries, Double Take, Disney's The Kid, 10 Things I Hate About You (for which she received an Artios Award nomination from the Casting Society of America), Deuce Bigalow, Romy & Michele's High School Reunion, Mr. Magoo, Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves, and 101 Dalmatians.
A few of the more than 50 feature films for which Ms. Ross has overseen the casting needs for Disney include Moonlight Mile, Sweet Home Alabama, The Rookie, Signs, Bad Company, Sorority Boys, Snow Dogs, The Country Bears, Big Trouble, Pearl Harbor, The Royal Tenenbaums, Crazy/Beautiful, Bubble Boy, 102 Dalmatians, Gone in 60 Seconds, Coyote Ugly, Remember the Titans, The Sixth Sense, Inspector Gadget, Cradle Will Rock, Bicentennial Man, The Horse Whisperer, Armageddon, Enemy of the State, The Parent Trap, Six Days, Seven Nights, Con Air, Flubber, Jungle 2 Jungle, and The Preacher's Wife.
Prior to joining Disney, Ms. Ross served as the Vice-President of Talent and Casting for Warner Bros. Television, where she oversaw and coordinated the casting of pilots, episodes, and movies. She also served as the casting director on a number of Warner Bros. TV projects, including The Flood, Sinatra (for which she received an Artios Award nomination), A House of Secrets and Lies, Taking Back My Life: The Nancy Ziegenmeyer Story (for which she won the Artios Award), To My Daughter, The Face of Fear, China Nights, and Murder in Mississippi (for which she also won an Artios Award).
