The public voted to decide the winners of the 2002 Hollywood Movie of the Year Award®, Hollywood Actor of the Year Award® and Hollywood Actress of the Year Award®, by voting at the Yahoo! Movies website, movies.yahoo.com, Entertainment Tonight's website, www.etonline.com, at Hollywood Video's website www.hollywoodvideo.com and also in over 1,800 Hollywood Video retail stores nationwide.

Steven Spielberg's "Minority Report" from DreamWorks won this year's Hollywood Movie of the Year Award™, actor Tom Hanks received the Hollywood Actor of the Year Award™ and actress Jennifer Aniston was the winner of the Hollywood Actress of the Year Award™. The awards were presented to the winners at the Hollywood Awards® Gala Ceremony, Monday, October 7, 2002, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. (Read the press release)

Minority ReportMINORITY REPORT, directed by Steven Spielberg, is based on a story by famed science fiction writer Philip K. Dick. The film stars Tom Cruise, Colin Farrell, Samantha Morton and Max Von Sydow. It is an action detective thriller set in Washington, D.C., in 2054, where police utilize a psychic technology to arrest and convict murderers before they commit their crimes. Tom Cruise plays the head of this precrime unit and is himself accused of the future murder of a man he hasn't even met.

Paul Newman and Tom HanksTOM HANKS stars with Paul Newman in Road to Perdition, a film about loyalty and revenge and the collision of a hitman's work and his family life. Mr. Hanks has won two Best Actor Oscars® for Philadelphia and Forrest Gump, and he has also received Best Actor Academy Award nominations for his performances in Big, Saving Private Ryan, and Cast Away. He made his feature film debut in the film He Knows You're Alone and made a name for himself when he played the role of Kip Wilson in the TV sitcom Bosom Buddies, which brought more film offers and led to his successful career in feature films, including The Green Mile, You've Got Mail, That Thing You Do!, Apollo 13, Sleepless in Seattle, A League of Their Own, Dragnet, Nothing in Common and Splash, among many others.

Jennifer AnistonJENNIFER ANISTON achieved recognition as a member of the hit TV series Friends, for which she recently won an Emmy Award. She is currently stars in the comedy The Good Girl with Jake Gyllenhaal, and her upcoming projects include the movie Bruce Almighty scheduled for release in 2003. Originally from California, Ms. Aniston moved to New York with her parents when she was a youngster. She began acting studies in New York and also studied art. She appeared in Off-Broadway productions and made her television debut in 1989 on the series Molloy. In 1994, Ms. Aniston landed the role of Rachel Green on the comedy series Friends. Since then she has starred in a number of feature films including She's the One, Picture Perfect, The Object of My Affection, Office Space, and Rock Star.

Road to PerditionROAD TO PERDITION
Crime drama starring Tom Hanks, Paul Newman and Jude Law, about loyalty and revenge and a collision of a hitman's work and family life. Directed by Sam Mendes. A DreamWorks release.
